Bula Vinaka!
This week has been an interesting week. Both my companion and I have been sick so we stayed in Thursday and Friday we went in so she could see a doctor. The doctor told her to stay in for the weekend. We stayed in that day, but by the time 7:00 in the evening hit, we were bored out of our minds. The missionary video library is limited to the first vision and a few other videos. We watched those a couple of times and read some new testament stories for kids. We finally just decided to leave to teach a few lessons. We got out and it was nice to get some fresh air. And to teach! Our flat is so small, it is actually a basement of a house and consists of 2 rooms. So it is the worst being sick! Anyways we survived.
On Tuesday we were doing some finding and there is this house in this one area and all these guys are always inside and invite us in for lunch. We always decline the invitation, but we decided to make them some of our investigators. This one older man came out and said, "sisters! come in and have tea". We said, "thank you, but can we share with you someday?" he said he was free on Sunday and that his name was Pauliasi. We went back yesterday, and went to the house and asked for Pauliasi. This one man came out, not the man we had talked to, and said that he was Pauliasi. We said a man had inviting us saying he was Pauliasi. His wife came out and said that was their talatala, which is their preacher. They invited us in and they were very interested! They have two kids and one of the kid's name is Emily! They said they had never met with missionaries but they wanted to learn more about the church. So that was an interesting find!
I hope you all have a great and safe week
