Bula Vinaka,

This week has been very interesting. I got my Christmas packages which were very welcome! It is so nice to hear from home and read all of the letters. There has been a cyclone, but we have not been effected too much. Some missionaries had to leave their areas, but not near us. Yesterday we were out proselyting all day and the rain was pouring down on us. It didn't matter if we were walking on the puddles or on the dry part of the road. We went to our dinner appointment, and the lady told us to just go home and change and then come back. I was so cold! So we went and showered which was nice. I think I got a little sick this morning from it, though.

this week we found a lady who was really interested in our message. We set up an appointment with her and her husband was there. He came in half way through our lesson. At the end he said that he would like to study our bible. We said he was more than welcome to. And then he asked us what calender we were using in our religion. We told him the one we found in the store. Then he informed us that he was jew right now because he believed in the calendar that he found in the book of Esther. And then he said that he would like to study our bible to find our what calender we use, and would like to come to our church to observe how we worship. So that was pretty funny. The next time we went to his house he hid himself in the back, so I guess his findings in the Book of Mormon weren't what he expected.
