Ni sa Bula Vinaka everyone!
I hope you all have had a great week. This week has been seriously the most crazy week of my mission so far. Transfer calls were on Tuesday and we waited all day, but didn't get a call. Then, during a teaching appointment, we got a call that Sister Tune would be leaving our area to open up a sisters area with a new missionary. And I found out that I would be staying in Toga training a new sister.
So... I am training in training. The training program doesn't finish until 12 weeks, and I have only been out for 6. So I am training my new missionary and working on finishing my training as well.
Thursday we left to pick up our new missionaries. We had an orientation to learn how to train, and then met our new companions and ate lunch in the mission home.
My new companion's name is Sister Pasi straight from Tonga. She is awesome! She loves doing the work and is so motivated. We are going to work very well together.
This transfer we will be working more with Vutia island because there are a lot of people who have never heard of the church before. We are going to focus on making the group there a unit. We are also going to work on opening up Nukui island for proselyting. And we are asking around for the islands around those two so that we can try to open them up and proselyte there as well.
Yesterday we got back from Vutia and a lunch appointment and were about to leave to proselyte and then the rain hit. It was so much!!! Our compound flooded in just a few minutes. I will send soem pictures, you can see how big the water droplets are.
Loloma bibi,
Sister Wayment
