Bula Vinaka! This week has been a good week. On Thursday the sun was so hot and so direct. We had a lot of appointments and so we were excited to go out. We started out and most of the appointments we had set had gone somewhere else or rescheduled. So we ended up just walking in the sun for hours. When we got back we were so sunburned and so tired!!! the whole night it rained super hard. Luckily  the next day it rained all day so we weren't scorched again. We have been doing a lot of finding. There is this one lady with three little kids who is super nice. She let us into her home and we gave her a book of mormon and set up a return appointment. When we went back she said her husband had really wanted to meet us but had to leave before we came. She had been reading the book or mormon and said it was really easy to understand. She said that she would be baptized if she found out it was true!  I hope you all have a great week loloma yani Sister Wayment

Bula Vinaka, This week has been very interesting. I got my Christmas packages which were very welcome! It is so nice to hear from home and read all of the letters. There has been a cyclone, but we have not been effected too much. Some missionaries had to leave their areas, but not near us. Yesterday we were out proselyting all day and the rain was pouring down on us. It didn't matter if we were walking on the puddles or on the dry part of the road. We went to our dinner appointment, and the lady told us to just go home and change and then come back. I was so cold! So we went and showered which was nice. I think I got a little sick this morning from it, though. this week we found a lady who was really interested in our message. We set up an appointment with her and her husband was there. He came in half way through our lesson. At the end he said that he would like to study our bible. We said he was more than welcome to. And then he asked us what calender we were using in our re...

Ni Sa Bula Vinaka! Sorry it has been a few weeks... a lot has happened. My companion ended up in the hospital from falling off the steps and was there for three days. She stayed in Samabula for a week while I came here with another companion. But she came back yesterday so that is great! Christmas was good, except the people kept feeding us until we were literally sick. And they wouldn't believe us when we said we were full. Haha I had to do some extra workouts after that. Christmas morning a woman in our ward called and asked if we were awake. When we affirmed that we were, she said "okay, I'm sending lagi" (her son). He came over with an entire carrot cake. The rest of the day went a lot like that.  We had our first baptism on Saturday! Keresi was someone we found last transfer, and it was incredible to see her enter the waters of baptism. I hope you all have a great week Loloma bibi,  Sister Wayment

Ni sa Bula Vinaka everyone! I hope you all have had a great week. This week has been seriously the most crazy week of my mission so far. Transfer calls were on Tuesday and we waited all day, but didn't get a call. Then, during a teaching appointment, we got a call that Sister Tune would be leaving our area to open up a sisters area with a new missionary. And I found out that I would be staying in Toga training a new sister.  So... I am training in training. The training program doesn't finish until 12 weeks, and I have only been out for 6. So I am training my new missionary and working on finishing my training as well. Thursday we left to pick up our new missionaries. We had an orientation to learn how to train, and then met our new companions and ate lunch in the mission home. My new companion's name is Sister Pasi straight from Tonga. She is awesome! She loves doing the work and is so motivated. We are going to work very well together. This transfer we will be ...

Ni sa Bula Vinaka everyone! This week has been a good week. I got sick from something on monday and I thought it would go away. It didn't and I was sick all week. The mission nurse told us to come in to see the doctor. She said it was just a stomach bug so I got some antibiotics. I am feeling much better today. I am excited to go back to normal this week. We were supposed to go to Vutia island on Monday but our apointments were cancelled. We planned to go on Tuesday, but still our people weren't there. So we decided to go to Nukui island. It turns out you have gto go out into the ocean to get there so that was exciting! When we got there, we went to the member's home. (only 2 active families in Nukui). They informed us that the chief of the village didn't allow proselyting. so we have to wait for the members there to talk to him before we can go there. We went back to the other island for dinner and then back to Lokia village for an appointment. This week we have be...
